November 19, 2020 The number of infections from Covid-19 officially registered in the world has exceeded 56 million, according to data from the American University Johns Hopkins.

The deaths were over 1.34 million.  



The Covid-19 pandemic continues to hit the

United States

hard,

whose budget in absolute terms remains the heaviest in the world.

In the last few hours, the US has crossed the tragic threshold of 250 thousand total victims (250,520 according to Johns Hopkins University), totaling more than eleven and a half million infections since the appearance of the disease.



The coronavirus epidemic continues to run in

Brazil

, where 754 victims and 38,401 new infections have been accounted for in the last 24 hours.

The total deaths since the beginning of the pandemic thus rises to 167,497, while 5,947,403 are infected. 



45,576 new cases of Coronavirus infection have emerged in

, where there are just under 9 million infections since the beginning of the pandemic.

Mexico

502 deaths from Covid-19, a number that brings the total deaths in the country to 99,528.

registered a record of cases of coronavirus in last 24 hours: according to the ministry of the Health there were 2,179 infections.

This is the first time that Japan has crossed the 2,000 mark on a daily basis since the start of the pandemic.



The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in

Germany

is still rising: in the last 24 hours, another 22,609 infections have been confirmed for a total of 855,916 since the start of the pandemic, according to the Robert Koch Institute.

In the same time span there are also 251 deaths.

The death toll rises to 13,370.
