Italy and Belgium join France and Spain in the final phase of the League of Nations thanks to their respective victories over Bosnia (2-0) and Denmark (4-2) on Wednesday, a "Final 4" that the Italians will play at home.

In Group 1, against an already relegated Bosnia, Squadra Azzura had to do as well as the Netherlands, which received Poland, to qualify for the last phase of the League of Nations, scheduled for October 2021.

Thanks to a goal from Andrea Belotti superbly served by a millimeter center from Lorenzo Insigne (22nd), the Italians opened the scoring against Bosnia, already assured of finishing last in the group.

The second caviar of the evening is signed Manuel Locatelli, author of a subtle axial opening that Berardi has perfectly taken from the volley to double the bet (68th).

With this success in Sarajevo, Italy had a double blow: in addition to qualifying, it also obtained the organization of the "Final 4", awarded to the team finishing at the top of group 1.

In the duel of the defeated, the Netherlands won (2-1) against the Poles at home thanks to Memphis Depay on penalty and Georginio Wijnaldum (84).

Kamil Jozwiak (6th) opened the scoring.

In Group 2, Belgium did not have to lose against Denmark to secure first place.

The Danes believed, for a half-time, to be able to create a surprise, while Jonas Wind (18th) had responded with a head to the beautiful opening of the score of Youri Tielemans (3rd), author of a clear shot leaving no luck to Leicester teammate Kasper Schmeichel.

In the second act, the semi-finalists of the World Cup put the accelerator and Romelu Lukaku gave a definitive advantage to his team by winning a first face-to-face with the Danish goalkeeper (57th), then with the head (69th).

A huge ball from Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois (86th) and a last goal from De Bruyne (88th) ended up bringing the score to 4-2.

In a game without any stake, the counter of Iceland, already in League B, remained stuck at zero points after its defeat in England 4-0, with goals from Declan Rice (20th), Mason Mount (24th ) and a double from Phil Foden (80th and 84th).

Tuesday, in group 4, Spain had secured its place for the "Final 4" by inflicting a historic 6-0 to an apathetic Germany, thanks in particular to the young Ferran Torres, author of a hat-trick.

The French world champions had already validated their qualification for the final phase in group 3 of this second edition of the League of Nations by winning among the title holders, in Portugal (1-0) on Saturday, and sent Sweden in League B with a 4-2 victory.

On Wednesday evening, Hungary, Wales and the Czech Republic validated their ascent in League A, finishing first in their League B groups.

Austria is also on the rise after their draw against Norway (1-1), who had lost their previous match on the green carpet for not being able to send their team to Romania because of health restrictions imposed by their Federation.
