On the night of Monday to Tuesday, two men were arrested in Montpellier (Hérault), report the police: the two individuals are suspected of having committed "multiple thefts" in underground car parks in the city.

It is a witness who had alerted the police a little earlier that a suspicious car was lurking in a parking lot.

Flight of pumpkins ...!

Eleven victims

The two men are suspected of having stolen dozens of items, some of which are rather bizarre.

The police have indeed found jewelry, chandeliers, a bicycle, an oven, bottles of alcohol, but also ... three pumpkins.

Investigators have identified eleven potential victims of these thefts.

The objects were returned to them.

Brought before the Montpellier prosecutor's office, the suspects will soon have to explain themselves to justice.
