UAE University announces the new student admission policy

The United Arab Emirates University announced the criteria for student admission for the next two academic years: 2021/2022 and 2022/2023, for enrollment in colleges, and all specializations offered by scientific programs, and the new admission policy stipulates that applicants are accepted. Conditional on those with a score of 1100 to 1225 in the Emirates Standard Test (EMSAT), in the English language subject, or its equivalent, and the student will obtain his seat at the university until he fulfills the required score, which is 1250.

The university has allowed citizens and non-citizens graduates from recognized universities, with a GPA of no less than 2.5, to enroll and study to obtain a second bachelor’s degree with tuition fees, according to the academic program to be studied.

The United Arab Emirates University affirmed that the new admission policy took into account the achievement of equal opportunities among applicants from various curricula and paths, and the provision of appropriate education and an appropriate educational climate for all students who will join the university, as the university studies and analyzes the reality of admission systems policies, and periodically reviews admission standards, in light of the rapid changes and requirements. The university indicated that it has recently launched a number of new programs for its students, including the Bachelor of Aviation Engineering program at the College of Engineering and the Master of Human Nutrition program offered in cooperation with University College London (UCL), which is affiliated with the College of Medicine and Health Sciences.

She pointed out that she transferred some programs related to health sciences from the College of Food and Agriculture, including «Bachelor of Science in Dietetics» and «Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Regulation», and «Bachelor of Science in the treatment of speech and language disorders» and «Master of Science» In Clinical Psychology »from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences to the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, as support programs for medicine and health sciences. This integration allows for a multidisciplinary approach to teaching and scientific research, in addition to improving health care services provided to the UAE community.
