The Sharjah City Municipality carried out an extensive campaign to monitor distortions of the general appearance on the shores of Al Khan and Al Mamzar, and remove neglected boats, in order to complete its efforts to monitor negative behaviors and practices, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the emirate Providing an ideal environment for residents and visitors.

The Director General of the Sharjah City Municipality, Thabet Al-Tarifi, stressed that the municipality pays great attention to the aesthetic appearance, in line with the visions of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and to provide the ideal environment that characterizes the Emirate of Sharjah, where the beautiful family atmosphere that pleases everyone who lives in it, as well as providing the finest , And the best service for them.

He explained that during the campaign, the municipality removed the discarded boats on the shore, which were left by their owners, and turned them into stores for fishing tools, and others that cause distortion of the cultural appearance, after their owners were notified of their removal.

For his part, Assistant Director General of the Customer Service Sector, Khaled bin Falah Al-Suwaidi, stated that the municipality is coordinating with the concerned authorities to remove boats inside the sea that distort the general appearance, and the municipal inspection teams have removed all the distortions on the beaches of Al-Khan and Al-Mazar.
