His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, congratulated the members of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Complex, and all its employees, for the opening of the complex's headquarters building, calling on them to focus on translating the vision and mission of the complex on the ground.

This came during the inauguration of His Highness the headquarters of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Complex, yesterday morning, in the presence of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center "Sheraa", and a number of members of the complex's board of directors.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah also directed the Council of Directors of the complex to work to strengthen the relationship with the academic sectors and support entrepreneurship, so that this building, with its available infrastructure and tools, becomes a platform for Emirati entrepreneurs and innovators.

His Highness explained that the Society must support companies and institutions that operate according to its scope, and have taken from it a starting point for their work and innovations, while keen to achieve permanent and continuous communication with them for the benefit of all.

After the unveiling of the memorial plaque to mark the opening of the building, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah toured the corridors of the building and its various sections, and looked at the companies' offices in different areas, laboratories and halls for exhibitions and meetings, and theaters of various uses.

His Highness went to the Innovation Hall, which includes offices and meeting rooms, designed in a modern way for entrepreneurs and emerging companies, and also includes offices of various sizes for small and medium-sized companies, and a business café with international specifications.

His Highness visited the 3D printing exhibition, organized by the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Complex, as this exhibition is one of the largest exhibitions specialized in this technology in the Middle East, as most of the printed models are displayed in the outside area of ​​the building, in addition to internal areas for small and medium pieces.

His Highness also toured the Middle East Test Center for Smart Manufacturing, or the so-called Additive Manufacturing, which includes the latest technologies and applied research laboratories in several fields, in addition to the Business Center of the Maker Space complex, which was called “Sharjah Open Innovation Laboratory SOILAB”, as the first incubator. For startups and innovative businesses in Sharjah.
