The monitoring data "is up to date".

This is what can be seen in some explanatory slides on the calculation of epidemic data published on the website of the Higher Institute of Health.

The data are constructed taking into account the virus incubation times and the indicators used are the most recent ones for which it is possible to guarantee the reliability of the data.

Then there are calculations that allow us to estimate the trend and to reason on the projection to the current period.

Risk assessment system considers every aspect

The system built for epidemic risk assessment is not too complex, on the contrary it takes into account all aspects related to the epidemic and the response of health systems.

This is what can be seen in some explanatory slides on the calculation of epidemic data published on the website of the Higher Institute of Health.

The presence of different indicators, explains the ISS, "allows to limit and counterbalance the negative effects due to the fact that the pressure on health systems can have some negative effect on the completeness of the data".

Resuscitation employment rate solid indicator

The occupancy rate of intensive care units and medical areas is a solid indicator, for this reason the inflow and outflow are not described.

Reliable Rt even if it does not take into account the asymptomatic

The transmissibility index Rt is reliable even if it does not take into account the asymptomatic.

This allows to use a "stable and constant" criterion.
