The Dubai Criminal Court sentenced an unemployed (Arab) 63-year-old who infiltrated into the villa of an Arab engineer at around 3:00 in the Dubai Criminal Court, and he knew that the engineer did not close the gate or the main door of the villa, according to his testimony in the Public Prosecution investigations And the engineer was surprised by the unemployed at home, so he confronted him, and was able to catch him, despite his severe injuries, while the accused said that he did not intend to steal, and he slipped into the house without awareness of him.

The victim said, during the investigations of the Public Prosecution, that he was in his house in the Al-Garhoud area, when he heard a strange sound in the hall, so he went out and saw the accused, then shouted at him, and as soon as the accused saw him, he ran and went down from the first floor to the ground, trying to escape, but he managed to catch him A fierce fight between them, during which he was seriously wounded, but did not let the accused escape.

He added that he has been staying at the house for 10 years with his wife, children and mother, and he used to not close the villa door at night, or even its external gate, because he was convinced that safety was available everywhere.

He pointed out that the defendant was wearing a mask and gloves, most likely he sneaked through the back door, since he tried to use it to escape, pointing out that he was holding a screwdriver, and he used it to assault him when he tried to catch him, but he did not let go until his wife got out of the room. She called the police, who arrested the accused, while he was taken to hospital by ambulance.

For his part, a Dubai police witness said that the accused was drunk when the residents of the house caught him, and when he asked why he stormed the villa, he replied that he was not fully conscious, pointing out that he had hit the victim in the face with a screwdriver he was in possession of, as he was wearing a mask .
