The launch took place at 01.27 yesterday, Swedish time, and shortly after 5 o'clock on Tuesday morning, the docking began at the ISS.

Astronauts Mike Hopkins, Victor Glover and Shannon Walker, from the USA, and Soichi Noguchi, from Japan, will be on the ISS for six months and carry out various research projects.

The mission is the first in a contract between the space agency Nasa and the company Space X - and thus the first regular space trip that the United States has leased to private actors.
