An Egyptian diver has lived in the sea for as many as six days, making him the'oldest dive man in the world'.

On the 16th of the local time, foreign media such as Al Jazeera, a Qatar private company, introduced the story of the 29-year-old Saddam Killarney, who started as a hobby eight years ago and fell in love with scuba diving.

Having a loving hobby, Mr. Killarney has a grand dream of becoming the person who has stayed in the sea the longest in the world.

It lasts 150 hours underwater, breaking the existing world record of 142 hours and 47 minutes set by Turkish scuba divers.

Mr. Killarney, an Egyptian, was particularly stubborn to set a record in the sea bordering his country, and naturally, the challenge site was set in the Red Sea between the African continent and the Arabian Peninsula.

In September, when training was in full swing, he and his lover and fellow scuba diver Pia Legora were engaged to the bottom of the Red Sea, showing their passion for diving.

And on the 5th, Mr. Killarney finally went into the waters of the coast of Dahab, Egypt for a challenge.

I solved my meals with liquids and nutritional supplements, and I slept in the water by fixing my body to equipment installed on the floor.

In case of an unforeseen situation, fellow divers took turns descending into the water to check Mr. Killarney's health.

While countless citizens watched and cheered Mr. Killarney in real time, Mr. Killarney wrote a message to his fans saying, "Thanks to you, I will never give up. You are my strength."

Six days later, Mr. Killarney came up and finished the challenge after 145 hours and 30 minutes of diving.

We were concerned about serious health problems, and we could not meet our original goal of 150 hours, but we easily surpassed the previous record and set a world record.

After achieving his long dream, Mr. Killarney said he will work as an environmentalist to raise awareness of plastic waste in the sea.
