As noted, on November 17-18, Tikhanovskaya will meet with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Leuven, Foreign Minister Ann Linde, members of the Swedish parliament, former Prime Minister Carl Bildt, and the Belarusian diaspora.

“Svetlana Tikhanovskaya will discuss the expansion of individual and economic sanctions against Lukashenko and his entourage, programs to support civic initiatives in Belarus, as well as a plan to support civil society in Belarus during the transit period (until the new elections)," Tikhanovskaya's Telegram channel said.

Earlier, Tikhanovskaya announced the discussion of the possibility of disconnecting Belarus from the international system of bank payments SWIFT.

On November 7, Lukashenka, speaking about his attitude to the sanctions imposed against him, noted that he has been under sanctions all his life and “does not care about it”.
