The incident took place last year on a bridge south of Hammerdal.
The hunter had been sent by Strömsund municipality to kill the moose that needed to be moved in order to be killed correctly.
When Daniel Jonasson approached the bridge, the moose attacked and kicked him.
- The first hoof came towards my head but I just managed to get my elbow up to protect myself, the second time the hoof took at the temple.
I was lucky, says Jonasson.
It all ended with Daniel Jonasson getting a fracture of his left elbow.
Due to this, the Chamber of Deputies has now decided to pay him SEK 45,000 in compensation.
