He was ready to start over.
A 32-year-old man was arrested and then indicted for "attempted kidnapping of 15-year-olds" and "carrying a weapon", announces the Loire-Atlantique gendarmerie.
The first facts occurred on November 4 in Nort-sur-Erdre, north of Nantes.
“Two college girls leaving college at lunchtime are approached, one after the other, by an individual in a car.
In both cases, he asks them to get on board by pointing a handgun, but the two teenagers manage to flee, ”says the gendarmerie.
One of the teenagers, accompanied by her mother, then lodged a complaint and sent a first report of the man as well as the vehicle she had recognized in the parking lot of a shop.
In possession of a pistol
The scene was repeated on Tuesday, November 10, around noon, with a third schoolgirl, in the same area.
This in turn lodged a complaint and gave a new precise description of the person sought.
These elements allowed the gendarmes to locate the same day the suspect near the college in possession of a weapon (a defense pistol with rubber bullets), ready to repeat an attempted kidnapping, they indicate.
Arrested, the 30-year-old was remanded in custody pending trial.
