In detail, the activities of the ninth regional conference on combating intellectual property crimes in the Middle East and North Africa were launched yesterday under the slogan "Learning from the Covid-19 pandemic ... Best Practices for Enforcement and Protection of Intellectual Property Rights", through a virtual platform organized by the Emirates Intellectual Property Association and the International Police Organization Interpol, in cooperation with the Dubai Police General Headquarters, the Ministry of Justice, Dubai Customs, the Council of Trademark Owners, and others.

Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan said that the conference is the first of its kind through visual communication, and aims to study how to benefit from the experience of the spread of the Corona pandemic in general, and its implications for the enforcement of intellectual property rights in particular, and to shed light on the prominent role of the state's efforts and modern technology in facilitating the protection of property rights.
