Eight people and no more.

This is the new limit that Swedes will soon have to meet on pain of a fine or a prison sentence of up to six months.

In the restaurant, tables are limited to eight guests.

For public events, shows, cinemas, the bar is also limited to eight spectators.

Suffice to say that they are doomed.

For Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, these measures, which he himself described as unprecedented in the country's history, are intended to mitigate this

second wave of coronavirus

, which arrived later in Sweden but which is now between 10 and 15 deaths per day.

These measures come in addition to the decision to ban the sale of alcohol after 10 p.m., which will take effect on Friday.

This limit, on the other hand, does not apply to schools, shopping centers, workplaces and especially private gatherings.

For these particular situations, Sweden continues to give recommendations.

“

Don't go to the gym, don't go to the library, don't have dinner, don't have parties.

Cancel,

”insisted Stefan Löfven.

Strongly supported recommendations that look more and more like orders.
