Funny sight for some residents of Neudorf, a district of Strasbourg, Sunday morning.

It was a little after 5 a.m. when a man, pursued by the police, was running naked on the roofs of the garages of a building on the rue d'Erstein, reports the

.

While the police were trying to stop him, the individual went "along the roofs, from one garage to another", tell witnesses to our colleagues.

The scene, according to them, would have lasted a good half an hour.

The individual then tried to go into the courtyard of another building to hide behind trash cans before being finally arrested by the police.

Shortly before, our colleagues add, a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted and fled into the street.

The individual has been taken into custody and an investigation is open.
