US President Donald Trump held his first press conference after the US elections, during which he did not address the election debate, and he was satisfied that only time will determine the identity of the next administration.

During the press conference held at the White House, Trump praised the performance of his administration in the face of the outbreak of the new Corona virus that causes "Covid-19", and attributed the decline in the performance of the American economy to the government shutdown, and said that the economy has returned and witnessed a recovery, and that the current administration will not allow the closure once Other.

Trump added that his administration has invested in Corona drugs, and death rates have been significantly reduced, and he added that he hopes that the Corona vaccine produced by Pfizer will gain approval quickly.

He revealed that other vaccines are being worked on.

The US President said, "We have provided 20,000 beds to care for people with Corona, but the number of injuries will decrease dramatically with the availability of vaccines," stressing that "there has been an increase in investment in America to provide all means of protection and breathing aids."

Trump added, "Millions of doses of the vaccine will be produced in all states except for New York State, whose governor refused because he has no confidence in the vaccine."

He stressed that "there are other vaccines that will be revealed in the coming weeks and will be distributed in a record period," adding, "My department will coordinate the distribution of the vaccine, and we hope that it will be approved quickly."

He explained that what Pfizer announced regarding the Corona vaccine "exceeded expectations and I received congratulations from world leaders for this scientific breakthrough."

Record time

For his part, Vice President Mike Pence said, "We will soon begin contacting state governors to coordinate plans for distributing the new vaccine to all Americans," stressing that the vaccine was produced in record time before the end of this year thanks to the efforts of the current administration.

At the same press conference, Moncef Al-Salawi, head of the American team responsible for developing the Corona vaccine in the Trump administration, said that "if the last stages of the Pfizer vaccine are approved, vaccination will start next month."

He explained that "licenses have been provided to develop vaccines and treatments in an independent scientific framework and without any government intervention," stressing that "it is possible that we will have two vaccines and two treatments for Corona before the end of this year," and that "in addition to vaccines, we are working to develop treatments with specialized institutions."

It is reported that Trump left the conference in the Rose Garden at the White House without responding to reporters who were asking questions, including "When will you admit losing the elections, sir?"

On Friday, American media announced that his rival, Joe Biden, had won the state of Georgia, bringing the number of votes he had won in the electoral college so far to 306, compared to 232 for Trump.
