What is the spread of the coronavirus in the municipality's schools?

At present, we do not have a known spread of infection in the municipality's schools, but this can change quickly.

In how many schools is infection found?

At a school, we have had a case confirmed by employees, however, the person was not at work at the time of infection.

How does the municipality work to stop / reduce the spread of the coronavirus in schools?

The municipality's schools have extensive strategic work that is continuously monitored to reduce the spread.

Adjustments have been made of lunchtimes, furniture in the dining room has been sparse, parent meetings are canceled, development talks take place digitally as far as possible.

Have any of the municipality's schools closed or switched to digital teaching?

No school has closed.

During two days this week, distance learning for year 7 and year 8 took place when the national tests were conducted for year 9.

What situations would cause a school to close or studies to go digital?

The municipality follows the criteria set out in the ordinance (2020: 115) on education in certain school forms in the school system when spreading certain infections.

1. a principal has judged that such a large proportion of the staff at a school unit is absent due to the virus that causes covid-19 that it is not possible or has been possible to run the business for a certain period of time and the principal therefore keeps or has kept the school unit closed or partially closed.

2. a principal, after consultation with an infection control physician, keeps or has kept a school unit closed or partially closed as a measure to prevent the spread of the virus that causes covid-19.

3. a school unit is located in an area that the Swedish Public Health Agency has decided must be cordoned off in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act (2004: 168).

4. a principal, due to a recommendation from the Public Health Agency concerning the school area, keeps or has kept one or more school units closed or partially closed, or

5. the government with the support of the law (2020: 148) on temporary closure of activities in the school area in the event of extraordinary events in peacetime has

issued regulations that school units shall be temporarily closed at national, regional or municipal level.
