A moose bull has for some time behaved aggressively and frightened residents in the district Egnahem in Huskvarna.
On Saturday morning, it could finally be killed by a municipal hunter.
The moose had entered a garden and the hunter went up on a balcony and shot it from there.
- The hunter could shoot it safely with a shot and there was never any risk to the public, says Daniel Söderqvist, the police's press spokesperson.
Decision on protection hunting
The police officer on duty decided on a protection hunt after the moose behaved aggressively and made attacks on people.
The bull has also constantly returned to the same area.
The municipal hunter has since been on site several times, but then judged that it was not time to shoot.
