SVT's consumer editorial staff Plus has repeatedly sought those responsible at the company to get answers as to why they have chosen not to follow the General Complaints Board's decision in a number of cases.

- Unfortunately, I can not help you with that.

I have nothing to do with it and I do not work at their company, says the woman in the customer service when Plus calls and asks for a phone number for the managers.

Which company do you work for then?

- Student travel in Sweden.

New company name - same brand

Before the student 2020, the company B2 Group International sold tickets for student cruises under the brand "Fun cruises".

But the cruises were canceled due to corona, and despite the fact that about 30 customers have the right to have their entire fee refunded, according to a decision from the General Complaints Board (ARN), many have not received this.

In its response to ARN, the company claims that customers who do not choose to rebook their trip, at the same time accept the company's booking rules, which state that you are then only entitled to a refund of half the amount.

In September, the company changed its name to Studentresor i Sverige, but the Fun cruises brand is still used and the company is run by the same people.

Refuses to respond to criticism

Several affected students and consumer counselors state that they have not been able to get in touch with the company.

In the video above, you can see how the company responds when SVT Gävleborg visits their office in Sandviken.

- It is incredibly frivolous that the company does not even answer consumers, comments Laila-Marit Sandberg, consumer advisor in Eskilstuna, who has been in contact with several of the dissatisfied students.

- It rhymes badly with the fact that you continue to sell travel as if nothing has happened.

However, she believes that there are still some chances for the students to get their money back after all.
