The Department of Education and Knowledge has set unified standards for organizing exams in private schools in Abu Dhabi.

Schools are advised to conduct formative tests for students who will continue to learn from a distance, noting that they do not recommend central exams except in cases of extreme necessity, where the student's attendance to the school building becomes mandatory, and otherwise it advises to follow other methods of evaluation, especially when taking into consideration The desire of some students to complete their studies from home.

In detail, the department indicated that some details of each of the "high-importance" tests can differ according to its specificity, which includes exam requirements, materials that must be brought and the test policy, stressing the need for schools to adhere to a number of unified standards during the organization of tests inside the school, including ensuring that Preparing the exam halls with appropriate ventilation systems, maintaining them periodically before the exam, and carrying out cleaning and sterilization operations for the examination rooms, especially before the exam date.

The department stressed the need to provide hand sanitizers without touching, and sterile napkins at the entrance to the examination halls, and to set clear indicative signs for all examination halls at the entrance and exit, provided that they contain two different entry and exit points.

In the event that there are no two ports for the hall, indicative signs should be placed that determine the priority of crossing according to the time of the exam, so that the directions point to the entrance at the beginning of the exam, and to the exit at the end.

The department recommended, within the unified standards, to install a transparent plastic layer on student tables and seats, so that the student can remove the muzzle during the exam, and put it on the table.

It also called for providing each student with a "mask kit": (a paper bag containing tissues).

Students should not be allowed to bring an additional mask to the examination room, to limit the entry of personal belongings into the room.

And she stressed the need to take into account the spacing between students, so that tables are placed two and a half meters away, and that they all face forward, and be equipped with a hook to hang the student's personal belongings.

The department also stressed, within the unified standards, the need to check the temperature of students before entering the hall, unless this is done at the entrance to the school, and obligating students to sterilize their hands when entering the exam room and upon leaving it, and all students sign a declaration of freedom from symptoms of "Covid-19" And not direct contact with a person who is infected, or who may be infected.

In the event that this occurs, the student must bring a medical certificate stating that he is free of disease, and leave it at the proctor at the entrance to the hall.

The criteria included the necessity to allow only test students, observers, and authorized persons to enter the examination hall, and not to allow waiting inside it, or in the areas surrounding the place, whether the school building or any independent test center.

It is also required to bring an ID card to enter the exam, and to verify the identity of each student before the exam begins, to prevent fraud.
