This is a purposeful policy of influencing foreign platforms on Russians' access to objective information, ”the ministry said in a statement.

They noted that in order to preserve the possibility of reliable and quick access to content for the Russian media, it is possible to use the platforms of Russian Internet companies "possessing developed distributed content delivery networks (CDN)."

On November 12, Roskomnadzor demanded that Google LLC lift restrictions on the viewing of the documentary USA 2020: Up in arms on the RT YouTube channel.

At the end of October, Roskomnadzor announced that censorship of Russian media by foreign Internet platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter had become systemic.
