In this Ehpad which can accommodate 215 residents, "143 patients have tested positive as well as 46 agents", said the ARS, specifying that "twelve residents have died of Covid" since the start of this second wave of the epidemic, while "there had been no deaths during the first wave".

Among the 143 residents who tested positive, "41 are symptomatic and 22 under close surveillance," the same source said.

A week ago, the Loches cluster had 121 residents and 22 professionals, but no serious cases or deaths, according to the ARS.

In the Center-Val de Loire region, 83 nursing homes, or about a quarter of the region's total fleet, are currently concerned by a cluster, according to the director of the ARS, Laurent Habert.

It is in Loiret that there are the most (26 establishments affected), followed by Loir-et-Cher (18) and Indre-et-Loire (15).
