November 13, 2020It was a pediatrician Luigi Picardi, 64, from Genoa. Now his name is on the list of 189 doctors who lost their lives fighting the pandemic. The news was given by the National Federation of Medical Orders.
Picardi worked in a medical office in Marassi and was a resident of San Fruttuoso, reports 'Liguriaoggi.it'. He had shown the Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus symptoms by immediately putting himself in voluntary isolation. He had warned all the patients he met in the previous days that they had been subjected to tampons.
However, the disease has gradually worsened, up to the need for hospitalization in intensive care.
