The Pennsylvania Court of Appeals satisfied the claim of the incumbent President of the United States, Donald Trump, related to the counting of ballots submitted by people who could not provide the documents necessary to confirm their identity.

“Thus, this court rules that the defendants - the district election commissions - are prohibited from counting the votes on any ballots separated (from the total mass. -

) in accordance with paragraph 1 of the ruling of this court dated November 5, 2020 on the imposition of a special injunction, ”the court ruling says.

By law, voters were required to present their identity documents by November 9, but State Secretary Katie Primer extended the deadline to November 12.

The court ruled that the official did not have the authority to do so.

Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania's largest county, Philadelphia, electoral authorities reported that 2,100 postal ballots were at risk of being invalidated because voters did not provide identity documents or the data provided did not match information from the voter lists.

The Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper reports.

Earlier, on November 10, Trump's headquarters announced the filing of a lawsuit, which refers to the illegal system of voting by mail in the state of Pennsylvania.

Lawsuits related to alleged election irregularities were also filed by the president's team in Michigan, Georgia and Nevada.

We will remind, Donald Trump refuses to recognize the victory of the Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the presidential elections in the United States, which is reported by the American media and the representative of the Democratic Party himself.

As the head of the White House noted in his official statement, "legally cast votes decide who becomes president, not news organizations."

Instead of handing over power, the incumbent American leader announced that he would fight in court for a "legitimate winner" to become president.

He also noted that he will not rest "until the fair vote counting is carried out for American citizens, which they deserve and which democracy demands."

We will remind, the official results of the presidential elections in the United States will be announced only after December 14, when the electoral college will vote for candidates for the post of head of state, based on the results of the popular vote.

However, there are no federal laws that would oblige electors to cast their votes for the winner in the state they represent.

Fight for fair elections

In turn, Trump announced on November 13 that after a recount in a number of states, it was he who would emerge victorious from the presidential race.

“Those states where the voting results are being revised should be entered immediately in the“ Trump victory ”column.

Biden did not win, but lost with a big gap! "

- wrote the head of the White House on his Twitter page.

These states in question should immediately be put in the Trump Win column.

In addition, the day before, referring to the One America News channel, Trump said that "the Dominion voting system removed 2.7 million votes" cast for him by voters.

“Analysis of the data shows that 221,000 votes in Pennsylvania passed from President Trump to Biden.

941k votes for Trump was removed.

In states where the Dominion voting system is used, 435 thousand votes for Trump were given to Biden, "the head of the White House wrote on his Twitter.

“REPORT: DOMINION DELETED 2.7 MILLION TRUMP VOTES NATIONWIDE.

DATA ANALYSIS FINDS 221,000 PENNSYLVANIA VOTES SWITCHED FROM PRESIDENT TRUMP TO BIDEN.

941,000 TRUMP VOTES DELETED.

STATES USING DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS SWITCHED 435,000 VOTES FROM TRUMP TO BIDEN. "

At the same time, according to him, "no one wants to report" about the exclusion of Republican observers "neither in the elections, nor in the counting of votes" in the states of Pennsylvania and Michigan.

“Because of this, hundreds of thousands of votes were counted that could not be counted.

Thus, I easily win in both states, ”wrote the incumbent head of the White House.

Nobody wants to report that Pennsylvania and Michigan didn't allow our Poll Watchers and / or Vote Observers to Watch or Observe.

This is responsible for hundreds of thousands of votes that should not be allowed to count.

Therefore, I easily win both states.

According to Trump, he managed to gain 72 million votes - "more than any incumbent president in US history."

In turn, Secretary of State of Georgia Brad Raffensperger announced on November 11 that in all counties of the state all ballots will be counted manually.

According to him, voters "deserve to have accurate and reliable election results."

According to the American media, Biden is currently ahead of Trump in Georgia by more than 14 thousand votes.

Meanwhile, the total number of voters in this state is about 5 million people.

At the same time, in a joint statement by members of the executive committee of the US government's electoral infrastructure coordinating council and the country's Sectoral Electoral Infrastructure Coordination Council, it is said that the presidential elections in the United States were "the safest in American history."

"There is no evidence that any of the voting systems have removed, lost, altered votes or that its security has been compromised in any way," the statement said.

It also reported that “a lot of unsubstantiated allegations” and “opportunities for spreading disinformation about the electoral process” exist in the United States.

“We can assure you that we are fully confident in the safety and integrity of our elections, and you must be sure of this, too,” the statement said.

"Doing the Almost Impossible"

As the director of the Franklin Roosevelt Foundation for the Study of the United States at Moscow State University, Yuri Rogulyov, noted, the satisfaction of Trump's claim by the Pennsylvania Court of Appeal "can be considered to a certain extent as a victory for the head of the White House."

“But this victory cannot be called a major one, since we are talking about a relatively small number of votes that can be deducted from Biden after the recount.

The fact is that the Democratic candidate beats Trump in Pennsylvania by tens of thousands of votes.

But the fact that the violations were of such a scale is out of the question, "the expert said in an interview with RT.

According to Rogulev, theoretically Trump can win if all his claims are satisfied by the court.

“However, for this, at least four states, the results must be revised in such a way that Trump won there.

But this is almost impossible to achieve.

In some one state, perhaps, he will win, "the analyst believes.

At the same time, Rogulyov believes that there were indeed violations during the elections.

“But whether these violations concern hundreds of thousands of votes is a big question.

Theoretically, some of the results can be revised, but in practice this is unlikely to ensure Trump's victory in all four states.

Otherwise, he simply will not have enough electoral votes, ”said the expert.

HSE professor Alexander Domrin also believes that "Trump won a legal victory, which, in theory, together with other successful court cases, could lead to his re-election as head of the White House."

“However, for this Trump and his team will have to do the almost impossible.

After all, every American state has its own electoral system.

If such a judgment is made in the state of Pennsylvania, it is not a precedent for other states.

That is why Trump is forced to file separate lawsuits in all these disputed states, "the analyst explained in a conversation with RT.

According to Domrin, Trump actually has a month for the judicial system in different states to take his side and a recount of votes took place.

“He needs to have time to take appropriate measures before December 14 (on this day, the electoral college must finally consolidate the voting in different states).

But technically it will be extremely difficult for Trump's headquarters to do this, ”the expert noted.

At the same time, Domrin drew attention to the fact that "Trump's attempts to save the situation and prove falsifications and violations during the elections are actively opposed by his opponents."

“Members of the executive committee of the US government's electoral infrastructure coordinating council and the country's sectoral electoral infrastructure coordinating council argue that there were no violations.

But Trump's headquarters cites a number of confirmations.

It just seems that no one is going to consider them.

It seems that the “Washington swamp,” in the broadest sense, including structures like the US Electoral Infrastructure Council, is sabotaging Trump's election integrity initiatives.

And this is extremely unfortunate.

Trump, as a non-systemic president, is actually being squeezed out of politics, ”the expert concluded.
