The UAE condemns the cowardly attack on the Saudi embassy in the Netherlands

The UAE has strongly condemned the cowardly attack that targeted the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in The Hague, in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, yesterday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed in a statement that the UAE expresses its strong condemnation of these criminal acts, and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence aimed at destabilizing security and stability, and inconsistent with religious and humanitarian values ​​and principles.

Egypt also condemned the shooting at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the city of The Hague.

A statement issued by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry yesterday said that Egypt is following the circumstances of this cowardly attack, and trusts the measures taken by the Dutch authorities to uncover the perpetrators.

The statement affirmed Egypt's stand and solidarity with Saudi Arabia in the measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens everywhere.

For his part, the President of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi, condemned the shooting incident at the headquarters of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Dutch city of The Hague.

In a statement issued yesterday, the President of the Arab Parliament called for uncovering the circumstances of the incident, pursuing the aggressors, and bringing them to justice.

The Dutch police announced that several bullets were fired yesterday morning at the Saudi embassy in The Hague, without causing any injuries, explaining that they had opened an investigation into the incident, which was described as a "cowardly attack."

And the Saudi Embassy in The Hague announced in a statement, that none of its employees was injured during the shooting, whose motives were unknown.

The embassy expressed the "condemnation of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this cowardly attack."
