- We are reviewing whether there is a need for additional support due to these restrictions, says Magdalena Andersson to journalists after a meeting with the Riksdag's Finance Committee.

Yesterday, the government announced that alcohol sales will be banned after 10 pm in restaurants, pubs, bars and similar restaurants to limit the spread of virus infection.

The ban takes effect on November 20 and applies until the last February of next year.

- Of course, it will affect the industry and that is why we are looking at whether there is a need for further measures, the Minister of Finance continues.

At the same time, Magdalena Andersson states that the government, as recently as Monday, presented proposals for extended corona support to companies, such as that short-term layoffs can be used until the summer. In addition, the adjustment support is extended to cover turnover losses.
