The increased spread of the coronavirus means that the county looks to receive stricter general advice for the public next week, says the infection control doctor.
- We are in the process of an introduction and I will not be surprised if it happens next week, says infection control doctor Hans Boman.
100s of new cases
95 new cases of covid-19 have been found in the county in the last 24 hours.
The spread of infection is greatest in Sundsvall and among young adults and middle-aged people.
- It is a very rapid spread of infection and increase we are in now and we also see that the load on hospitals increases with eleven inpatients.
However, no one in intensive care, says Hans Boman.
"No shopping rounds"
It is the Director General of the Swedish Public Health Agency who decides on the restrictions.
- The advice means that you should only make the necessary shopping trips to buy food and medicine, otherwise you should avoid staying in stores.
