Regarding the abolition of seals in administrative procedures, the results of examinations by all ministries and agencies have been summarized, and of the approximately 15,000 types of procedures, procedures other than 83, which require seal registration, will be abolished. All "approval stamps" are expected to be abolished.

To promote digitalization, the Minister for Regulatory Reform, Kono, is requesting all ministries and agencies to abolish approximately 15,000 types of administrative imprints in principle.

As a result, it has been abolished except for 83 procedures such as application for corporate registration that requires seal registration, automobile registration, and request for receiving political party grants.

As a result, it is expected that all procedures that do not have a seal registration and require a so-called "approval seal" will be abolished.

In response to this, the government has decided to hurry to submit the bill necessary to abolish the seal, saying that it has reached a certain conclusion regarding the revision of the seal.
