Congress: Citizens and ERC allow the processing of Budgets after mutually vetoing
Budgets Pedro Sánchez rewards Bildu with the star measures of his labor policy
The
new PSOE
, the one that supported Pedro Sánchez in his journey to reconquer the
General Secretariat
, sheltered him on his way to
La Moncloa
and is now located in positions of power, has closed ranks around the president and his decision to you advance the legislature hand independence forces, nationalists and
nationalists
, the same of which abjured repeatedly before the successive electoral confrontations.
Now, the block with which intends to
take forward the Budget for 2021 is made precisely by those forces with two striking alliances: the provisional Citizens and
innovative
Bildu, a party latter with which neither the PP nor the
old PSOE
is they had never agreed to agree.
Now, however, socialism, under the leadership of Sanchez, hastens to justify the alliance with the formation
abertzale
pointing as a "triumph of democracy" and, incidentally, reviling the opposition calling it
heir to the Franco regime and assuming fact that, if the
Transition
, with its seal of reconciliation between different people, and the constitutional pact
had depended on them
, none of this would have been possible.
It is largely a reaction to criticism, not only from political opponents, but also from their own ranks.
An answer with the intention of neutralizing the discordant voices that have arisen in the PSOE baronies: Guillermo Fernández Vara, Emiliano García-Page, Javier Lambán ... and to which Susana Díaz has joined today.
The Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, has defended the theory of the "impossible" Transition in the debate on the entirety of the General State Budgets and, after her, the Minister of Transport, José Luis Ábalos, for whom to agree with EH Bildu is nothing but a victory for democracy.
"Can we accept that a force be in Parliament but not normalize their performance?" Said Abalos referring to the party
abertzale
.
"We have to value it, because the one who has won has been democracy."
He too, following the path of Montero, has pointed out, in reference to the opposition parties, that "with the mentality of some the Transition would have been impossible today."
In the same vein, the Minister of Territorial Policy, Carolina Darias, has defended Bildu's support for the Budgets and has disdained the opinion of the dissident voices of her party, ensuring that she does not feel any fear of criticism from the main socialist barons.
Multiform pact
And in the same vein, the leader of the PSC, Miquel Iceta, has expressed himself with an eye on the next Catalan elections, and has assured that he, unlike the Extremaduran president Fernández Vara, is not "nauseated" by some support or others.
Iceta, in fact, hopes to profit from the multiform pact on Budgets, with the hope of being able to reissue a tripartite in
Catalonia
after the elections.
Less forceful, but understanding, has been the president of
Asturias
, Adrián Barbón.
He assures that he would have liked the Government "not to have to reach multi-pacts" in which formations such as Bildu are included, but he has attributed this setback to the PP's refusal to negotiate with Sánchez.
Barbón has ignored in his reflection any reference to the pacts proposed by the Popular Party to the Government.
More precise has been the leader of the Basque Socialists and
Vilehendakari
,
Idoia Mendia
, for whom it is good that Bildu is involved in governance.
Mendia recalled that the Basque Socialists have always agreed with Bildu "with absolute normality in Euskadi."
And he added: "The PP has also done it."
The vice-lehendakari, one of Pedro Sánchez's most loyal supporters, has recalled the recurring request of Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba when he demanded "bombs or votes" to demand that ETA and its political arms stop killing and bet on politics, something that, according to Mendia, is what you are already doing the left
wing nationalists
.
He mendia however never forget that Rubalcaba was given to compromise with the
nationalists
, even after ETA announced an end to the armed struggle.
