Watch the police film from the cannabis cultivation in Aneby in the clip above.

Two cultures, 1,500 tablets of tramadol and 70 reported drug offenses and more.

It is the result of the police's targeted action in recent weeks.

According to Johan Borg, police in the Highlands, there has been an increase in the number of drug crimes in recent years.

So far this year, the number is 987 in the Highlands, which can be compared with 2016 when the number of drug offenses was 617.

- The increase may be due to various things, partly that the police have intensified their work against these crimes.

But we also see a completely different attitude among young people today when it comes to drugs, he says.

"Scary lot"

One seizure of cultivated cannabis was made in Aneby municipality.

A man in his 30s who is now suspected of drug crimes was arrested there.

And despite the fact that the amount of drugs in society is large, Johan Borg believes that this type of effort makes a difference.

- Yes I think so.

It will be an increased experience of the risk of being discovered.

It is noticeable when we gather strength and it gives results.

He continues:

- But this also shows what we fear, that there is a frightening amount of drugs in society.
