12 November 2020 Almost 11 months after the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Italy exceeds one million cases.

The premier gives the head of civil protection Angelo Borrelli the task of carrying out a reconnaissance on the already existing facilities and preparing others, to lighten the hospitals and support those who cannot face isolation inside their homes.

The deployment of assets of the Armed Forces is requested by the Emergency Committee at the Civil Protection at the Joint Operational Command.
