The RN7 suffered a fatal accident, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, near Saint-Cyr-de-Favières (Loire).

, shortly after 4 a.m., a 24-year-old motorist died after hitting a heavy truck.

The young man was driving the wrong way on the 2x2 lanes and the truck was overtaking several vehicles.

The truck driver explains that he did not realize that the victim's car was traveling in the wrong direction.

He therefore continued to overtake and could not avoid the shock, very violent, which instantly killed the driver of the Peugeot 306.

The prosecution requested an autopsy of the body of the young man, a native of Clermont-Ferrand.

Heavily disrupted this Thursday morning, traffic on the RN7 was restored shortly before 9 am.
