A reporter asked at the meeting: The seventh national census is underway. In this census, 10% of households will be randomly selected to fill in the census long form to investigate more detailed information.

May I ask the spokesperson, does this include Taiwan compatriots?

Will this census reveal the privacy of Taiwan compatriots?

Zhu Fenglian introduced that the seventh national census will be registered from November 1 to December 10 this year.

According to the regulations of the National Census Regulations, the subjects of this census include Taiwan residents living in the mainland.

All information provided by census subjects will be kept confidential in accordance with the law.

Zhu Fenglian said that according to the requirements of the national census plan, the long census form is only selected for mainland residents, and Taiwan residents do not need to fill out the long census form.
