According to the London newspaper Times, the owners of the historic Sherlock Holmes house on Baker Street in London are Dariga Nazarbayeva, daughter of former Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, and Nurali Aliev, Dariga's eldest son.

90% of the property - which would have a value of tens of millions of pounds - is owned by Dariga Nazarbayeva, while her son Nurali is entitled to 10%.

The real estate property would be screened by the company Farmont Baker Street Limited, registered in the Arab Emirates, but attributable to the Nazarbayev family.
