November 11, 2020 A patient admitted to the "suspicious" area of the emergency room of the Cardarelli hospital in Naples, with probable Covid-19 infection and for this reason already in therapy, was found lifeless in the bathroom of the emergency room .
The hospital staff found the body and noticed the man's excessive stay in the toilet.
It can be read in a note from Cardarelli, in which it is specified that "a few minutes after his death, a video showing the man's body began to circulate on the net, shot taking advantage of the removal of rescuers who went to get a litter on which to lay the body. It is not possible at the moment to establish what was the cause of the illness that led to the death, however the health management has dutifully launched all necessary investigations ".

"It is regrettable - says the general manager, Giuseppe, Longo - that similar events are the object of exploitation aimed at creating terrible and dangerous suggestions in public opinion".
"Precisely for this reason, and for the respect due to the suffering of the family, Cardarelli's strategic management has launched an internal investigation aimed at ascertaining who and how he shot and disseminated the video.
