President Moon Jae-in said he will protect the pride and honor of UN veterans through peace and prosperity in the Republic of Korea.
President Moon said, "I remember the pride and honor of veterans for freedom and peace," in an article posted on social media today (11th) on the occasion of the International Day for the United Nations Veterans Memorial.
President Moon said, "The more you think about it, the higher and more solemn you will be."
He said, "I give deep consolation to the veterans who are living with the pain of injuries and the bereaved families who endure days of longing after leaving their loved ones.
The United Nations Veterans Memorial Day became the first legal anniversary of this year with the enactment of the Act on Honoring UN Veterans in March.
President Moon introduced that the'Turn-to-Word Busan International Memorial Ceremony for UN Veterans in Busan' held at the UN Memorial Park in Busan will be held today at 11 am. I said.
