  According to reports, the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a statement on the 9th announcing a complete ceasefire in the Naka region from 0:00 Moscow time (5:00 Beijing time) on the 10th.

Russia will deploy peacekeepers in the "corridor" along the line of contact between the two sides of Aya and Armenia.

On October 15, local time, the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan continued in the Naka region. A hospital in the Martakert region was destroyed in the fighting.

  British Foreign Secretary Raab said on social media that Britain welcomes the ceasefire agreement reached between Asia and Afghanistan.

Raab said, “They (both sides) passed difficult decisions to prevent further deaths. We call on all parties to continue to work together to find a long-term peaceful solution in the interests of their people.”

  French Foreign Minister Le Drian called on the two countries to resume negotiations in order to achieve long-term mediation of the Naqqa conflict.

The statement pointed out that “in addition to the ceasefire agreement announced in the evening, the two sides still need to resume negotiations to achieve long-term mediation of the conflict. France will give full play to its role within the framework of the co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.”

  Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Turkish President Erdogan on the 10th at an appointment to discuss issues such as the conflict in the Naka region.

Erdogan spoke highly of Russia’s efforts to mediate the conflict, believing that this has laid a good foundation for a comprehensive and long-term solution to the conflict in the Naqqa region.

In 1994, the two sides reached an agreement on a comprehensive ceasefire, but the two countries have been in a state of hostility due to the Naka issue, and armed conflicts have occurred from time to time.

  On September 27, 2020, a new round of conflict broke out in Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Naka issue.

In October, the two countries reached a ceasefire agreement three times under the mediation of relevant countries.
