Seven corona19 confirmed cases occurred at the Armed Forces Welfare Corps, a unit directly under the Ministry of Defense in Yongsan, Seoul.
The military and health authorities confirmed yesterday (10th) that a public service worker belonging to the Armed Forces Welfare Corps was tested positive for Corona 19, and then additionally examined 200 people, including close contacts, and six executives were confirmed.
The Armed Forces Welfare Corps is located in a separate building, not in Yongsan-gu, where the main office of the Ministry of Defense is located.
The military authorities confirmed that one of the confirmed patients attended a service at the Yongsan Armed Forces Central Church outside the territory of the Ministry of Defense on the 8th, and is focusing on identifying the correct path of infection and the path of the confirmed person.
