Expressen says actor Sven Wollter is dead.

According to the magazine, the actor died of complications caused by the corona at Sunderby Hospital in Luleå.

- To our sadness, we have to report that she flew straight into the light today, November 10, Wollter's daughter Stina writes on Instagram.

According to her daughter, Korona was eventually too much for an actress suffering from COPD and emphysema.

- He couldn't stand this last ordeal anymore.

His end was painless and he was surrounded by all his loved ones.

Wollter has starred in movies and television since the 1960s.

He starred in the film Commissioner Beck and Andrei Tarkovsky's Victim, among others.

Wollter also played an international role in the John McTiernan-directed film The 13th Warrior.

In Van Veeteren's films based on Håkan Nesser's books, Wollter plays the title role.

A total of nine films have been made.

According to Expressen, the actor contracted a corona infection while visiting Stockholm at the end of October.

- I feel a little half fit.

I have a fever and it doesn’t feel good, Wollter told Aftonbladet at the time.
