A man is presented on Tuesday to the prosecution for a judgment in immediate appearance.

He is suspected of violence against civil servants, rebellion and concealment of theft.

Saturday afternoon, a crew of the anti-crime brigade (BAC) on patrol noticed the presence of several individuals loading a motocross into a van.

At the sight of the police, some immediately fled.

Three of these individuals were stopped without incident by a crew, while a fourth attempted to hide a gun in his bag.

He was caught by the BAC police officers and a fight then broke out with the suspect to proceed to his arrest.

Slight injuries for a policeman

During the arrest, he allegedly held up the police on several occasions before managing to flee in a vehicle, leaving his bag on the spot… and his weapon, an F1-type revolver with six cartridges.

As he started off, he ran into a policeman, causing minor injuries by crushing his foot and hitting him from the front.

Identified and arrested by the Rhône departmental security, as of Sunday morning at the home of a friend in Pierre Bénite, this 21-year-old Villeurbanne admitted the facts.

He says he had no intention of using his weapon against the police, nor of injuring the officer who was on the hood of his car at the time of his escape.

The other three individuals were released after their custody.
