Putin said that with great satisfaction he would like to note the outlined compromise and the agreements reached to end the bloodshed.

“I hope that all the steps we have taken recently will lead to the establishment of a long-term peace for the benefit of the peoples of Azerbaijan and Armenia,” the Russian leader said.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov said that the end of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh is a victory for Armenia and Azerbaijan.

On the evening of November 9, the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin, Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev, signed a joint statement on a ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh.
