“The deployment of Russian peacekeeping forces (in Nagorno-Karabakh - RT) is the best option,” RIA Novosti quotes Tonoyan as saying to the country's Public Television.
According to him, the plan for the deployment of peacekeepers from Russia was developed in a short time.
“We thank Russia for its assistance,” he added.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu discussed with his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar the issue of resolving the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
