Professor: Several thousand more people are at risk of dying

- During the summer, we managed to reduce the spread of infection.

We then had a behavior that meant that we did not infect so many per person if we ourselves were infected.

But today it has unfortunately become the case that we have started to infect each other again, says Uno Wennergren, professor of theoretical biology. 

Together with his employees, he has counted on the spread of infection and the calculations indicate that up to 1,500 Swedes may die before the turn of the year if we do not start to be careful with our social contacts again.

He states that it is difficult to make exact predictions, but that this is what the forecasts based on the current spread of infection point to.

- Unfortunately, I would like us all to be a little scared now again, he says.
