Johor, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, and Terengganu will implement conditional movement restrictions from November 9 until December 6.

Kuala Lumpur and other places that have implemented conditional movement restrictions will automatically extend the restrictions until December 6.

This means that except for Perlis, Pahang and Kelantan, other states in Malaysia have implemented conditional movement restrictions.

This measure prohibits people from trans-county and trans-state unless there is an emergency or with the permission of the police; trans-state and trans-county workers must have an employer certification letter.

In addition, all schools are closed, only two people in a family are allowed to go out to buy necessities, and religious activities are determined by their respective states.

However, most economic sectors can still operate as usual, restaurants can provide dine-in, but a table can seat up to four people.

Prior to this, the Malaysian government has implemented conditional movement control orders in Sabah, the capital Kuala Lumpur, and Selangor where the epidemic has worsened rapidly since mid-October.
