Earlier, a number of media outlets, including CNN, AP, NBC and Fox News, announced Biden's victory in the US presidential election.
Biden later declared himself the winner of the presidential election.
Biden has already been congratulated on his victory by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Fiji Prime Minister Frank Mbainimarama.
