Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi is continuing his consultations in Kinshasa to get out of the crisis with his coalition partner, the pro-Kabila FCC.

This Saturday afternoon, the head of state is expected to meet Moïse Katumbi, opponent and former governor of Katanga.

For its part, the party of the former president tries to camp on the agreement reached with Felix Tshisekedi.

From our special correspondent in Kinshasa,

Moïse Katumbi, but also Gabriel Kyungu, president of UNAFEC and chairman of the board of directors of the railway company (SNCC),

will be received

, as well as several representatives of his coalition Together for the Republic.

The former governor of Katanga said it on Friday November 6 when he arrived

in the Congolese capital: he came to listen, to find ways and means to save the

Congo together, because "

the country is in distress

", he declared when he got off the plane.

He then took a walkabout in Kinshasa: his convoy took five hours to reach his home.

The "

Sacred Union

"

seems to already exist among the militants: on Friday, November 6, we saw militants of Ensemble pour la République and of the presidential party side by side demanding the departure of Joseph Kabila from power ... as if he had never left the presidency.

The current Congolese head of state has meanwhile said that his coalition with his predecessor was floundering: he cannot govern.

With his 68 deputies, Moïse Katumbi can become an

important ally

.

But can the opposition before the 2018 elections become a majority?

Not without debauchery of a hundred deputies of the Common Front for the Congo (FCC) of Joseph Kabila.

The FCC uncompromising on the agreement made with Tshisekedi

For its part, the FCC officially launched its retirement Saturday, November 7 in the morning, beyond the airport of the capital, on the site of Safari Beach.

This is to find a common position in the face of the consultations launched by Félix Tshisekedi.

Former President Joseph Kabila is not there today, however.

For this first day, only a meeting between the heads of political groups and associations of the FCC was organized.

There are some personalities like the Prime Minister or the President of the Senate.

The President of the National Assembly was represented.

From the outset, FCC coordinator Nehemie Mwilanya said it: the FCC will remain uncompromising on respect for the Constitution and the agreement that binds it to Félix Tshisekedi and his coalition.

This agreement provides for impunity for the former regime, the percentages of the distribution of posts between the two allies and would prevent the current head of state from running in 2023. Joseph Kabila will surely be there on Sunday, November 8, we promise .

Since the announcement of Félix Tshisekedi's consultations, the FCC has mobilized its executives almost every day: first with consultations with Joseph Kabila in Kingakati.

Then this retreat which was initially announced in the wake.

In the end, almost a week of preparatory meetings passed to finally begin on Saturday, November 7.

Few FCC executives in dialogue

So far, few FCC executives have come to Felix Tshisekedi's consultations.

Former Senate Speaker Leon Kengo wa Dondo was there yesterday Friday.

There is also Senator Lola Kisanga who had already announced his rallying to the head of state.

Finally, some governors and deputies, all from Grand Ecuador, who complain about the marginalization of their province.

The unofficial slogan within the FCC not to appear for the moment at these consultations, was therefore rather respected.
