At least four reports have been received where young people bought alcohol, drank it and became ill, had visual disturbances, seizures and difficulty breathing.
- In the last week, we have seen several cases where young people via accounts on social media have probably bought technical alcohol that is life-threatening to consume, says Jonas Packalén, restaurant coordinator at the police in Södertälje.
The alcohol has been sold via Snapchat and Instagram and the police are working to try to find the sellers.
