“In connection with the sharp deterioration in October-November 2020 of the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Montenegro due to a significant increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection COVID-19, the adoption by the Montenegrin authorities of additional restrictive measures to combat its spread and in order to ensure the safety of Russian citizens in Montenegro The embassy has suspended the provision of consular services (actions) from November 9, 2020, ”the diplomatic mission said.
The embassy noted that "in this regard, their provision to citizens registered for an appointment through the system of preliminary electronic registration will not be made (tentatively until November 22, 2020)."
Earlier it was reported that the government of Montenegro announced that it would allow Russian tourists to enter the country from August 7.
