It was during Thursday that a gold trader in Blekinge was beaten down and robbed of gold by two perpetrators.
When the men went to the gold dealer, a riot must have broken out.
The perpetrators must have taken gold with them and then left the scene in a gray car.
- Gold is worth a lot of money, so much I can say.
This is a significant value, says the police's internal commander Magnus Hansson.
The robbed gold trader is said to have jumped into his own car and taken up the hunt for the thieves, but to no avail.
The police currently have no suspects in the act, which is classified as robbery.
According to information from the police, the gold trader must not have been seriously injured by the beating.
